The McCloud Railway also operates delightful open-air Excursion Train rides through the forested southern slopes of Mt. Shasta. Taking a little over an hour, the excursions operate weekends in the Summer months, departing from the historic town of McCloud. The trips feature our diesel locomotives.
Excursions are $12 per adult, $8 per child under 12 years, unless otherwise noted.
Excursions operate Fridays in July and August and Saturdays June through September, boarding at 3:45, departing McCloud at 4:00, returning at 5:00 (see schedule)
